Pavel Kalina, founder and director of the school Musartedo, studied composition and piano at the Prague Conservatory and currently works as a composer and producer. He participated in several international seminars and projects in France, Poland, Portugal and the Czech Republic. He was awarded an honorary plaque in Versailles, drama Coming Clean (Václav Havel), to which he wrote the music in 2010, won the prestigious Alfred Radok and together with guitarist Michal Hromek received a Golden CD from recording company Supraphon for musical piece Mixolydian song.

In 2015, Pavel Kalina founded a private music school Musartedo, which deals with education in the field of electronic music production and DJing. Since its inception, the school works with companies and institutions at the international level and is the first Czech school that enables its students to purchase EDU licenses of the music software. Musartedo school also enables its students hands-on learning, which means that each student can works during lessons with own workstation fully equipped by production facilities.
